How did I get into coaching? Well, everything started out with an apprenticeship in Hospitality Management, followed by two years in Room Reservations in Europe’s oldest luxury hotel. It became obvious very quickly, that numbers were my thing and so I moved into Revenue Management. After one year in the beautiful city of Erfurt, Germany and a 70 or more hour week I knew that there had to be more to life than what I had found so far.

 

In order to sort myself out I took a year off and went travelling, once around the world. Met many very interesting people, had great conversations along the way, worked in some amazing places, came across a lot of fantastically breathtaking views and most importantly found my inner child and guiding light.

Back home I was very quickly sucked back into the ‘everyday life’, found myself another job in a hotel and eventually went about my life looking the same on the outside but forever changed on the inside.

 

When presented with the opportunity to do an MBA a friend of mine challenged me to try something different, something that did not suit me as much as academics did… After a bit of thinking it through I did end up enrolling into the CTI Leadership Program instead. And what a once in a lifetime experience it turned out to be. The seed of something bigger was sown and took about two years to grow into a beautiful, magnificent and resourceful 'Beauty Deer Dreamer' Personality.

 

Those two years I used to get certified in CTI’s Co-Active Coaching Program, become a certified SICI Bike Fitter, do two Ironman Triathlons, participate in a 8 day mountain bike stage race over 704km and 15,900 meters of climbing, enrolled in and finished with a Nutrition Course. I pretty much found what fulfills me, brings me joy and let's me live my life on purpose.
